In this last issue of 2008, there is an article addressing a number of important events from our company’s life. You will also find a piece on new challenges for the Autosan plant in Sanok, these resulting from the decision to stop production in Jelcz-Laskowice. I do believe that current or future production plans for the plant should arouse intense interest of both our Customers and Readers. Marek Zmarz, Dr. Eng, a constructor of intercity buses, and Adam Choroszy, MSc. Eng., a constructor of city buses, present new families of buses with technical solutions that meet all requirements for modern intercity and city means of transportation.
Moreover, the current issue addresses, among other things, safe construction solutions for buses produced in Sanok, which incorporate all risk prevention and accident-protection systems.
We also present a report of Transexpo 2008 Fair where the bus “Eurolider” was especially rewarded by the jury, and the stand of “Polskie Autobusy” was recognised as one of the prettiest, and awarded with the Fair medal.
The year 2008 has already passed. In spite of an “uncertain situation” in Jelcz, our company continues to occupy a leading position in bus sales in the Polish market, and to expand its export.

“POLSKIE AUTOBUSY – NEW HORIZONS” – this is the title of the 21st issue of our magazine which presents a really interesting interview with Wiesław Wyżycki, President of Autosan, who describes a new production strategy of that oldest Polish bus plant. In another place, our expert, Adam Siedlecki, encourages safe driving a bus. Unfortunately, this topic is still up-to-date. We do hope that the Bus Driving Academy will both fulfil our Customers’ expectations, and contribute to road safety improvement.
